ARE YOU PART OF A FRANCHISE?

No.  Since opening in 2003, we have never been part of a franchise, and have never paid any fees to Bikram Choudhury, or Bikram Yoga College of India. .

How Often should i take class?

 

Come as often as you can.  The more you practice, the quicker you will see results.  It's fun and it works!  The time and effort you put into class will be returned to you tenfold.

is it cardiovascular and can i lose weight?

Yes.  No matter what your level of fitness, this yoga class is challenging.  Each posture combines strength, flexibility, and balance to work your entire body from the bones to the skin.  With persistence you can lose inches and develop muscle tone, strength, and stamina.

Why the heated room?

The heat allows the muscles, ligaments, and joints to stretch without injury and it aids the healing of existing injuries.  The combination of the heat and the yoga postures allow deep changes to take place.  After all, yoga originated in India, where it's hot!

How Long is Class and what should i bring?

Every class is 90 minutes so you really get your money's worth. Bring a yogamat and large towel (perhaps a 2nd towel for a short shower) or rent at the yogaschool

what if I have injuries or illnesses?

How much does it cost?

Please let the teacher at the Front Desk know if you are pregnant, had surgery, or have any injuries, illness, or special conditions.  You can still do most yoga postures, with perhaps a few modifications that our teachers will show you.
